TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
GRADES 13-17
The Miramar Rangers Talent Development Programme is available to players in Grades 13, 14 and U17 this season. Entry is by invitation only following trials.
TDP teams will compete in Capital Football’s highlest league against other TDP-accredited clubs throughout Wellington.

PLAYER COMMITMENT
1-2 additional training sessions per week through the 4 terms, covering technical skills and tactics. Fees are charged once per term and players wear the official Miramar Rangers TDP uniform.

UNIFORM
The correct Miramar Rangers TDP uniform must be worn for all training sessions, this includes:
TDP Training Top - $50
Black FC Football Shorts - $29.90
Black & Blue Football Socks - $19.90
The uniform can only be purchased directly from the club via MyComet. Contact Rosie at miramarrangersafc@gmail.com with any questions.
Receive a 15% discount in MyComet if you order before the end of March.
Sporting the full and correct uniform is a non-negotiable requirement. Players who regularly come to training without the uniform will be stood down from training.
KEY PERSONNEL
JAMIE DUNNING
English-born Jamie Dunning, commenced his coaching career in England before moving to the US where he coached in the United Soccer League (ULS) for a year.
In New Zealand Jamie has made his mark as Head Coach for Napier Marist, Assistant Coach and Youth Team Head Coach for Hawkes Bay United.
Jamie holds an NZ Football/Oceania A License and brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role at Miramar Rangers.
Jamie joined Miramar Rangers as Junior Development Manager & TDP Technical Director in late 2019.
STUART WIDDOWSON
Stuart Widdowson is a TDP coach and coach of Miramar Rangers’ Capital 1 senior side and the Wellington College First XI.
Hailing from Harpole Football Club in Northampton and Reading University in Berkshire, Stuart holds a NZ Football/Oceania C License and is working towards his NZ Football/Oceania B License.
Stuart has coached both in England and China during his career and has a particular interest in tactics, current tactical trends worldwide and set-piece workings within the game.
LIAM WOOD
Liam has fulfilled a number of playing and coaching roles at Miramar Rangers over the last few years and we are pleased to welcome him to the U17 TDP coach position in 2020.
Liam has also coached at the Phoenix Academy and Scots College and is currently the First XI coach at St Pats Town and is currently sitting his NZ Football/Oceania C License.
KEEGAN SMITH
Keegan is the Miramar Rangers TDP Goalkeeping Coach.
As well as being a great shot-stopper, Keegan has a bunch of experience playing at the highest level, including 6 games in the A-League for the Wellington Phoenix.
Keegan is currently a Team Wellington goalkeeper and provides Miramar Rangers with goalkeeper coaching.
